1. Introduction
Panel Pro Insulation and Packaging (“Panel Pro”, “we”, “us”) operates the website panelproinsulation.com and a Facebook-connected automation app (the “App”). The App helps us reply to messages and comments on our Facebook Page, Messenger, and WhatsApp Business account, and manage customer inquiries about our sandwich panels and insulation products.
This policy explains what information we collect through the App, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it. By messaging our Facebook Page or interacting with the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
When you interact with our Facebook Page, Messenger, or WhatsApp Business number, the App may receive the following through the Meta Platform:
- Public profile information: your name, Facebook Page-Scoped ID (PSID), and profile picture. On WhatsApp, your phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
- Messages and comments: the content of messages you send to our Page and comments you post on our Page posts.
- Contact details you share: phone number, email address, company name, or delivery location, only if you choose to provide them in a conversation.
- Inquiry details: product interest, panel size, quantity, and project information you share for a quotation.
- Technical data: timestamps and message delivery status needed to run the automation.
We do not collect your Facebook password, friend list, or private data from your personal profile.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information only to:
- Reply automatically to your messages and comments.
- Send you product details, prices, and quotations you request.
- Follow up on your inquiry by Messenger, phone, or WhatsApp if you shared contact details.
- Improve our customer service and response times.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to your inquiry, and we never sell it.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- With our internal sales and installation team, to handle your order.
- With service providers that host or run the App (such as cloud hosting or automation tools), who process data only on our instructions.
- When required by law or a valid government request in Bangladesh.
All data received from Meta, including WhatsApp, is used in line with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
WhatsApp messages are processed through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) and handled under the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service. We send WhatsApp messages only to people who contacted us first or agreed to receive them.
5. Data Retention and Security
We keep conversation and inquiry data only as long as needed to serve your inquiry and for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless the law requires longer. After that, it is deleted or anonymised.
We protect your data with secure (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to authorised staff only, and secured storage of access tokens. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.
6. Data Deletion Instructions
You can ask us to delete all data the App holds about you at any time. To do so:
- Send a message to our Facebook Page or WhatsApp number with the words “DELETE MY DATA”, or
- Email us at panelproinsulationandpackaging@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and your Facebook name.
We will confirm and delete your data within 30 days. You can also remove the App’s access from your Facebook account: go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find our App, and click Remove.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may stop receiving automated messages by replying “STOP” in Messenger or WhatsApp.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
